Presenting my research at Ubicomp'24 in Melbourne, Australia
I am a PhD Candidate at Ulm University
As an interdisciplinary Human-Computer Interaction researcher with a strong design background, I blend an eye for design with technological innovation in my work.
My research shapes the future of transportation by focusing on accessibility and seamless integration into daily life. Additionally, I deeply care about enhancing digital wellbeing by tackling the challenges of infinite scrolling and its impact on mental health, developing strategies to promote healthier online habits.
Beyond academia, my experiences in the marketing and design industries have broadened my perspective. This diverse background allows me to approach challenges from multiple views, such as combining design thinking with marketing insights to develop user-friendly products that connect with people.
Below is a selection of publications and patents I’ve contributed to. Fun Fact: most of my publication titles draw inspiration from song names. Can you guess which ones? Take a listen to my research playlist to find out!

300k EUR Funding for Research on Infinite Scrolling
Ulm University
I secured funding from the DFG (German Research Foundation) together with Prof. Rukzio for our lab to continue work on digital wellbeing on infinite scrolling
I revisited my master's university and pre-present my three(!) first-author CHI papers. I enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new people in the German HCI community.
I have presented my full paper, «Hey What's Going On?», at Ubicomp 2024 in Melbourne—a top-tier, highly technical conference uniting experts in ubiquitous computing.
I was very happy to be invited again by Prof. Johannes Schöning to an inspiring CHI paper writing session at HSG, full of collaborative ideas and great company
Invited for a 3 week CHI paper writing session at the University of St. Gallen, I spent an intense month collaborating on papers with fellow researchers
At my first international conference, I met many international researchers and had engaging discussions during my two poster sessions on «EyesOnMe» (based on my Master's thesis) and «Up, Up and Away»
